Easter in Greece

Easter is the most religious celebration in Greece.In Greece we bake cookies and we paint the eggs red to symbolise the blood of Christ.On Sunday we grill a lamb.Many people go to the church.How do you celebrate the Easter?

The kind of art for us is the painting,because painting expresses the feelings and the mood of the artist.Also painting expresses the lifestyle and the culture of the people in the years of the artist.Our best painters and artists are Leornado da Vinci,El Greco and Vincent Van gogh.

For the new 1 euro coin we want the Parthenon because is one of the most ancient buildings in Greece and because is the most popular monument in Greece.Parthenon is in Acropolis and was a temple.Parthenon is devoted in the ancient godness Athena, who was the godness of wisdom.
Today in the coin of 1 euro is the owl which is the symbol of Athenas and of wisdom.We select the Parthenon because is a very beautiful building and because is in Thissio, near our neighbour.

Sports

the most popular sports are football and basketball. we play both and wash them.

My neighbour is thisio.Thisio has many ancient monuments near to my house and many shops.Also thisio has many blogs of flats.

Why I like Christmas

We like Christmas because is a celebration for the children.We have more free time to play with our friends.We take a lot of presents for our parents and friends and we eat a lot of sweets.We decorate the Christmas tree and we gift-giving under the tree.
